A Product Born from a Real Problem

1. Automated Cleaning System

A scheduled internal cleaning cycle uses a brushless pump to circulate water through a UV-C purification stage, breaking down algae, bacteria, and organic matter. The cycle runs at 3 AM daily — silent and invisible. The basin stays clean for weeks between manual cleaning checks, which the app prompts at appropriate intervals.

2. Water Quality Monitoring

Three embedded sensors continuously measure water temperature, pH balance, and turbidity (clarity). If any reading strays outside the healthy range for birds — which differs by species and season — the app sends a push notification. In winter, a low-power heating element activates automatically to prevent ice formation, keeping the bath accessible year-round.

3. Solar-Powered Everything

The entire system — pump, sensors, heating element, camera, WiFi, and electronics — runs on solar power stored in an 8,000mAh internal battery. There are no cables to hide, no outlets needed. The solar panel provides enough charge from as little as 3–4 hours of ambient daylight per day.

The AI Camera

Built directly into the birdbath's centre column is a wide-angle HD camera with full-color night vision. Every bird that visits is automatically identified by species — the AI recognizes over 300 species — and logged in your Reli Up app feed with a photo and timestamp. You receive a push notification the moment a new species visits for the first time.

The dual-basin design — with separate deep and shallow zones — attracts a wide diversity of species, from small songbirds that prefer shallow water to larger thrushes and starlings that need deeper wading areas. Our community data shows that dual-basin baths attract an average of 40% more species than single-depth alternatives.
